Pots and Pans and Refridgerators..

haha...hubby cheng and i are turning into Uncle and Auntie..

we were out shopping yesterday when we entered Carrefour and bought a non-stick wok with glass cover and a 28cm non-stick pan..

haha..both were on super sale..thus the prices were good..the wok was $22.90 while the pan was only $9.90..

super happy..

before that, we went for a lunch with my mum to celebrate her birthday and guess what?

she's sponsoring our fridge!!..haha..Samsung here i come!!

after the shopping, hubby cheng and i went back to his house to drop off the pans and went for a Ang Mo Kio-Yio Chu Kang district National Day Celebration cum Upgrdading Programme Dinner..

the dinner was alright..but just kind of awkward cause it's a 'newlyweds' table and everyone simply do not know each other..

ha, but the great thing is that we took a picture with the MP..he's called Mr Seng, i think..

haha, he even gave us a 'congrats' card..

so, maybe i'll just appear in the next issue of the RC magazine..haha..

after the dinner, we went back to his house and his mama gave us a new pot with a glass cover..

haha...that's why the topic is Pots, Pans and Refridgerator..

well, we kind of eyed a bed from Picket & Rail too...but still considering..it's pretty worth it..and it's the exact design i wanted..hee...

but we do need some time to think over it..cause' a bed is important..i can't just buy a bed like that..

so, anyone wanna sponsor me a washing machine?

16th August 2008 marks the very beginning of our new journey together. A journey of a lifetime.

We signed on that particular dotted line to be man and wife. We made our vows to each other through the good times & the bad and through sickness & health. We had our wedding cake and wore our wedding bands. Took much photos and kissed for the first time as husband and wife.

And i believe, in time to come, we are going to achieve much more as a couple and have much more memories to share.

As i held your hand in mine, i see you not just as a husband, but someone whom i am going to achieve all my dreams with. Someone whom i can build a home with and return everyday with such happiness, someone whom i can travel around and see the world with, someone whom i can have 4 babies with, someone whom i can work hard with to build a dream future with.

today is a special day. all the 'eights' today. nice date.

which is why i've decided to blog despite being tired and exhausted. this whole week has been a hell work. i've been working till about 8pm everyday.

it's stressful and simply tiring. every bit of my energy is used up. and when i get home evryday after work, i am almost in a half-aleep state.

it's like there's just enought time to work, sleep, eat and work, sleep, eat again.

i'm also eating my 3 meals at office these few days, which i read somewhere that it's unhealthy. cause' you would most probably be eating with stress. thus, bad digestion.

my stomach is still alright though it does make a few weird noises here and there. ha, bad digestion.

but at least one thing is that i've been eating my breakfast early. i am now having my breakfast daily at 8.30, which is good cause' the early you eat your breakfast, the better the metalbolism rate and the more efficient your whole day would be.

dinner has been early too, at 6pm. i would usually packet from Funan and eat at my desk before continuing to work.

well, next week would be as bad too. deadlines are coming and coming. queries are coming and coming too. files are piling like mad, to a point that my colleagues actually answered one of my calls cause' she can't see me behind the desk.

haha.

well..apart from work, i have finally done something fro myself this month. i haven't really given myself a good treat since i got my last paycheck. and so, i bought a new pair of heels yesterday during lunch.

haha, love the heels like mad. it's classic and nice and i left it at office so that i can change my heels as and when i feel like it.

13 more days..

and so i have 13 more days to go before i bid farewell to singlehood and enter a whole new stage of life..

it's an amazing feeling though. since i was young and knew what love was from the channel 8 dramas, i have been dreaming of falling in love with the greatest guy in the world and getting married at 24, have a baby at 26 and on and on..

though getting married is something i really look forward to, it's still feels rather weird that i am telling people that i am getting married.

haha..call me mad.

it's also weird for me to be telling people and introducing to people that mr cheng is my husband..

haha..

well, i guess i'll get used to it.

everything has been well on track..with 13 days more to go..

i have chosen my dress...had wanted a short pink dress..but short dress just looked bad on me..plus the bridal shop does not have much of pink dresses as well..

so, i decided on a long white tube dress with red trimmings..haha..loved the dress lots..

mr cheng would be wearing a black tuxedo..hee..very handsome eh... :)

both from My Bridal Room...will be getting a bouquet of lilies from them as well..

the location has been fixed since a month ago..food menu decided...have also e-filed my marriage notice..got the wedding bands since early this year...hee...got the rings pillow and bears as well (bears were courtesy of Phylicia :))

hee...the wedding favours had been DIY already...now just lacking the chocs and ribbons to go..

party poppers are ready as well...

photographer would be Roy Lim...i hope the pics turn out good..cause' it's a once in a lifetime kind of thingy..

hee...mr cheng and i have also written our wedding vows..self-created and meaningful to both of us..

with all these done, i guess i am ready to get married!!! :)

haha..

but on a serious note, i am really ready to be married, in all aspects.

it's wonderful to find someone you love who loves you back. and it's perfect when you both think about the future and see how you can spend forever together.
