i am back.

sad to say. haha, nah, not in a bad sense. just that i enjoyed myself so much during this trip to Taipei that i just hope i don't have to be back in Spore so soon.

actually, this is my longest trip overseas though, 7 long days away. but then i have spent a total of 12 hours+ travelling, so it's not exactly 7 days of enjoyment.

the trip was fun and enjoyable, especially when it's just me and baby.

loved the hotspring at Beitou, it's simply superb. haha, i am still thinking about it... :) woo, soaking in the hot water and relaxing those tired muscles!

food was great too, haha. we ate like mad, stopping at almost every night market stall to eat. we had:

1. iron eggs ('tie dan')

2. BIG BIG chicken chop (super big, with cheese somemore)

3. smelly toufu (sorry grace, i couldn't bring any back but i ate on your behalf, :P)

4. 'ah zong' mian xian

5. 'bing lang' (which is definately not our cup of tea, haha)

6. snake meat at Huaxi Street (this is super exotic, too bad they do not allow photography..)and dear drank the snake's 'dan' and blood (both mixed with chinese wine), i had cold feet and opted out of it..it's just simply too much to take..)

7. braised meat (very salty but yummy!!)

8. ma ya tang thingy with strawberry :)

9. fried 'di gua' (very very nice~)

10. Mcdonald's breakfast..haha, i know, this is fast food but the pork with egg muffin breakfast set is super nice~, haha, the hotcakes are very yummy too..

lots of other food also but these are the top ten i can think of.. :)

and we managed to do a little sight-seeing here and there, massaging (haha, we went for 2 massage sessions in 7 days to soothe those tired muscles..and the best part is the massaging shop is open 24 hours)

and also, KTV!!!

haha, the KTV there is superb, would give it 8/10, i am not looking down on Spore's KBox but really, when you're there, that's when you know the difference.

the KTV place is 'Holiday KTV'. the staff were good and super efficient. most importantly,we paid $16.80/- per pax to sing for 4 hours, with the free buffet just 10 steps away from our room and our very own toilet in the room!!

shopping was alright though, just that we didn't manage to shop as crazily as we did in HK. mainly cause' their clothes were very much the same pricing as Spore's (when you convert from Taiwan dollars to Sing$)

didn't manage to get any bags or shoes but clothes were rather good though. hee, bought my 1st pair of Levi's jeans...baby liked it too :)

and we bought an umbrella.

cause' it was raining like mad for three days in a row so baby and i bought an umbrella for use and brought it all the way back to Spore.

it's a good umbrella though.

alright, got to go have dinner soon...shall upload the pics when i get my hands on baby's camera..

oh, i can't miss out this one last thing.

nope, it ain't Jay Chou, sad to say..

ZaiZai!!

he is one of the F4's members..his real name is Zhou Yu Ming but commonly called as ZaiZai..

haha, he ain't a super big star but it's just happy and exciting to see a singer/actor in the streets lor..haha, they were filiming some secret society scene..

and i was just 50m away from him leh..haha..and so i dragged baby to take pics of ZaiZai while being excited and giggling here and there..

haha.

shall load the pics when i get my hands on the cam.
