being bored with my dull black hair for quite some time, i went to highlight it over the weekend..

it wasn't much surprise or a big change though..just the usual basic brownish highlight..but somehow, the highlights ain't that obvious..i don't know if it's the product or my own hair not being able to absorb the colour well..

went to do my hair at Hair Fusion at Tampines..didn't really plan to go to any specific salon..just so 'qiao' that i came across a forum that has got very good comments about the salon..

the cut is alright..but i'll rather go back to Klearcut @ Far East Plaza..the coloring was a bit disappointing..

hmm...i wouldn't say how much i've spend..since mr cheng reads my blog and there is no point in me under-declaring it..haha..

i am waiting for a while more before going for another one though..i'll love to have red highlights..haha..more fun and nice~

the salon i went to had a hair spa in the package too...the place was pretty nice and relaxing..i even had the OSIM Isqueeze during the spa.. :)




find that i look kind of pale these days..have no idea why..maybe it's time i should start on that bottle of vitamins that i bought during xmas..

and now for something on a happier tone..

haa..bought a new pair of shoes from AMK Hub..damn good buy..even mr cheng supports it!

haha...it's kind of difficult to find this kind of shoes in my size..to my surprise, this particular shop 'Anna Black' has it and it fits damn well~..

and the bigger surprise is having it on 50% sale..weehee...bought it at a mere $12.90..haha

hee..that's all for my weekend..

work's been pretty busy today..i still have lots of files on my 'in-tray' waiting to be cleared despite me clearing and clearing since the start of today..

but, after the 20th...everyhting would be better...can't wait for tomorrow to come..cause' i am meeting baby and his friends for dinner at Orchard..haha..buffet leh..

Lunar New Year had been brisk...it was rather fast flying too..just a few days of enjoyment, pigging and lazing around..and i was back to work..

but then, it was a good celebration for me..this Lunar New Year is the second one that mr cheng and i are celebrating together..

it was almost the same as last year except that we were more 'introduced' to our friends and relatives this year.. :)

we had a few gambling sessions and surprisingly, we won!..haha..i said surprisingly cause' i had been contributing to others'pockets every year..same for mr cheng..maybe it's a couple thingy..

remembered i blogged about the book that i planned to read through during Lunar New Year?

well, i finished it within 4 hours..it was a pretty touching book though..i was sobbing like mad on the eve of Lunar New Year...and now mr cheng is reading the book..he last told me he was at page 24..so i don't know how long he'll take to finish it..but i am sure he'll be touched too..

hee..a few weeks ago, i was feeling pretty bored and so decided to take a few pics with teddy..haha

enough of the Lunar New Year stuff liao..have got nothing much to blog or post too..cause' i was damn lazy to take much pics...maybe i'm getting old..oh well

anyway, i attended the D&D organised by my previous company on 13.02.08

this year's D&D was pretty good..held at the Mandarin Oriental's ballroom..

the dinner menu was good too...had shark fins soup, scallop, all sort of delicacies..

plus the great entertainment by Kumar...he's really good!!..his jokes can really make you laugh upside down lor..

but bad thing is..i did not win anything..neither did baby..

but the worst thing was me having this headache that got out of hand towards the end of the show...baby then rushed me home after the dinner, only for me to vomit out all the delicacies into a plastic bag..

poor boy, he had to clear up stuff, pour water, give me medicine and put me to bed..being worried, he spent the night at my home and only went back in the morning after i saw a doc...

and i spent my V-day at home surfing the net and sleeping while being on MC..baby went to work..

but then, we had a simple porridge breakfast in the morning of V-day and he gave me a pink rose the night before..

it wasn't anything fanciful or expensive..it was simply just the two of us..which i have come to really appreciate...

and through this whole 'vomit' thingy, it just reminded me of great he can be..though i have forgotten many a time whenever we quarrell...

and i am extra happy today cause' he blogged about me..haha...it's nothing big..but i am just so happy that he blogged about me..haha..

but i ain't too bad..i left a short msg for him in Friendster on V-day's morning when he was fast asleep.. :)

Happy Lunar New Year everyone..

hope the new year 2008 brings about Good Luck, Good Health and Good Wealth..

so happy that Lunar new year is finally here..cause' i am finally enjoying my 2 free days of Public Holidays..haha...super long weekend..plus sat and sun...woohoo..will only be back at work on Mon..

but then, the work would be piling like crazy by then..

anyway, new year is good..cause' that's when i get to receive ang-baos and fufill my craving for pineapple tarts and cookies..

in fact, for this year, i bought 2 bottles of pineapple tarts, one is from Polar while another is from a chinese stall in cheenatown..

the one from Polar was a bit disappointing though...the jam is way too sour..but the one from the chinese shop was alright..sweet but yet not so sweet..

haha..in fact, i do hope you people can drop by one of these days to have the goodies... :)

i ain't having an official open house..but on sunday..if anyone wants, can jus drop by for a lazy sunday together..i have lots of food for you!...and i'll cook lunch.. :)

will send an SMS maybe tonight or tomorrow..

an hour plus to dinner now..can't wait to eat my dinner today...cause' i am smelling all the seafood and abalone cooking~

haha...that's the joy of new year i guess..

will be having reunion dinner with my parents tonight..

mr cheng and i missed our supposed reunion dinner yesterday. he was sick and busy these days. thus, it all didn't turn out the way it was supposed to be.

he said that he would make it up. i am not blaming him for being sick.

i was just blaming on anything and anyone else.

then again, how do you make up for a day, a dinner, a reunion dinner to be more specific?

it's not like you can rewind time.

i wasn't quite happy yesterday. partly cause' we haven't been spending much time recently. is he too busy or am i too free?

well, i don't wanna go there.

anyway, i am happy today. or at least, i tried to.

tomorrow and friday shall be reserved for my relatives' houses.

on saturday, i shall go to my friends' houses for visiting.

on sunday, shall see if anyone is coming over..if not, then i shall drop by Sentosa for a 'flower-viewing' exhibition. i read it from the papers that there's one going on but i am not sure when it's ending though.

and then, on monday, it shall be back to the same old boring work.ha, can foresee a busy monday and tuesday..with all the work that has piled up over the weekend..

wednesday shall be booked for the D&D for my previous workplace..

and i am thinking of taking leave for thurs and fri though..

for what?..rest la..such a hectic life i have got recently..i need to get away from files and EFS for the time being..haha

i was thinking of a short holiday trip to Batam or BKK...just for the weekend away..oh well..still must think think...hee

oh ya..i bought a new book today..

'Ways to Live Forever'

and no, it's not those fairy tale stories..it's actually about an 11 year old Sam being diagnosed with lukeumia and living his last few months wondering and asking about death..

it's a sad story but it teaches people about love and the meaning of life.

it's actually under 'young adults' section but i think it's still worth a read for a story that's beyond it.

can't wait to read it..shall start tonight!

i can't believe i am feeling so sleepy right now.

it's a Friday night, no work on sat and sun. but yet i am beginning to feel so tired and sleepy.

i had wanted to do the laundry that has been piling crazily over the week but it's just so lucky that it started raining the moment i stepped into the house.

maybe tomorrow. i have to wash baby's clothes too.

hmmm...going to bed soon. good nite.

btw, i have to mention this. i love my new bedsheet lots. the bed sheet is purple in colour, one of the pillows and the boaster is in purple too. my other 2 pillows are in royal blue and my comforter is in pink.

and i feel so good going to sleep everynight.

it is so true when people said that a bed is important.

just like me now, i feel so happy going to sleep and waking up each morning.

work has been fufilling too. though i am busy, i feel so much more accomplished than i was in my previous job. at least now, i am seeing myself doing more real job.

as in, i can see work being done and files moving and work that makes more sense than before.

which is good though. and most importantly, i love how i would get weekends completely off with no disturbances and no more 'call-backs' on off days.

oh, and i get half day off on the eve of PH and the free PH too.

life is good.

but then, i wouldn't mind striking the lottery though.

and, i think i'm gonna get myself a Coach bag in time to come. it's calling me. but i've gotta save up my money first cause' that would bring me a great sense of accomplishment. ha, i need to get it before i reach 25, which is like 11 months away?
