today is a good day..hee

i just spent one of the greatest weekends...half of it by myself!

haha..i spent friday's holiday sleeping my day away...it was good since i've been missing out on sleep the whole week..

saturday was good too...haha..i woke up and had my favourite teochew porridge at the market..then i watched a bit of TV and spent the rest of the day shopping...hee..was so happy..

and shopping was very fruitful too...bought two skirts from Verge...original total was about $100 but it was on 50% discount...so it turned out to be only $50...hee hee hee..and the best thing is...both colours were what i was looking...ha..1 is in light gold and another is in brown...love the gold one to bits... :)

wanted to buy a polka dots top for work too...but decided not to cause the buttons were rather uncomfortable..but thinking now..maybe i should get it afterall..since i have been looking for one and this top looks rather good without being too striking..

oh well...shall see when i have the time to go Tampines.. :)

and today's good too...just went for brunch with mr cheng and sujendran..

haha..wanted to go Ghandi's but it was closed for renovation so we ended up at Inviana's...haha..very yummy too...authentic indian food...

long time since i ate indian food..

and later, i am gonna play tennis with mr cheng and his buddy Royston..haha..funny thing is, we have no idea about it but we'll gonna try..

and the best thing is we've gotten our tennis racket on last sat..haha...all 3 of same designs.. :)

till then..gonna go take a little nap now...feeling rather sleepy now, after a heavy brunch...and i spent time last night till late sorting out the photoshoots pics.. :)

there are some new ones on the way..shall upload them when i am free...ciao~

i just submitted my application for the build-to-order flats at Punggol..according to the HDB website, there are only 494 flats available..to date, there are about 2214 applications received..

closing date for applications is 17th March 2008..which is about 5 days away..

will i be lucky enough this time?..i don't know..

but frankly speaking, i am of 0% confidence..i mean..within this 2000 plus applications..there are sure to be more than half who had applied numerous times before and are tyring their luck just like me..priority would definately go to them..

so, we'll see if i am lucky or not..

but then..if i do not get it..it's ok..can always wait for the next one..

i am just hoping that they build some blocks at this plot of empty land at AMK...haha..fat hope?..

maybe not eh...you would never know ma...

haha...housng woes..who would have thought that i would be one of those couples fighting for a flat out there?

haiz..sometimes i just hope i'll strike lottery and i can jolly use the lottery money to buy my dream house in AMK..i don't ask for much, just one million will do...you know, to do the reno..my walk-in wardrobe..get my furniture...

or 50k would be nice too..enough for me to pay for the 'cash over valuation' for resale flat..

oh well..i am dreaming too much liao.

i think i am crazy to be blogging now..it's 7 hours more till i go to work again. which means i am using my sleep time to blog. see how nice i am.. :)

haha..actually i am just too full from my dinner earlier..went to visit mr cheng's dad and met up with his family @ the ward..

after visiting, his mum treated me to fish head curry...very yummy..and there was satay too!!!

haha..

i am just happy to be spending time like that. especially with mr cheng. he means a lot to me.

My Pre-ROM Photoshoot...














been missing in action the past week..nothing much actually...just working and planning my life stuff..

two bad things happened during this period though...

1. read through jul's blog that her hamster, pixie, passed away...
p/s: dear jul, sorry to hear about that. but i guess it's just life's cycle in action. with every birth comes every death. with every happy and fun time, comes a sad and dull moment. i feel your sadness though i can never understand how bad it is.

i lost my very first hamster years back too. it was a kind of sadness that's way beyond description. time can heal but memories will always be around. so no matter how far she is now, at least you had those happy photos and memories to carry with.

2. dear's dad got hospitalised.
so, he's busy with the preparation of the hospital's reports and some applications for medical treatments for the 'after-hospitalisation' period.

it's pretty saddening. i can see deardear being sad but there's nothing much i can do. cause' he ain't a girl and crying doesn't help.

but i told him about how we can change certain plans for the time being and 'mid-term' future to accomodate to the money issues he has gonna face.

the road ahead, i mean for the near future, is a little tough but we'll go through this together, k?

3. well, this third one is no big sad thingy. just me being busy in work. i am struggling, yes, struggling.

the air-con has been frezzing cold these days..cause' my new neighbour kept turning the extra air-con 'on'. she kept saying that she feels hot and HOT..but there i was, frezzing like mad with a thick wool jacket and a black shawl. i am so close to bringing another shawl to work.

and it does not matter to her that all other people are freezing too. one of them even felt her bones aching !

and now i am praying hard everyday that the air-con breaks down some day!! SOMEDAY!!

and i broke my OT record too...worked till 8pm that day. thank god 2 of my seniors are still around. else i would have freaked out with that sort of silence!..even the droping of a pin makes a diff!

let's hope life gets better...i took 3 days of leave this week...and yesterday when i went back to print some stuff, i saw some files piling~..i do pray that they are gone by the time Monday comes along.. :)
