there are much surprises in this blog..

1. i just rebonded my hair..i know, i know..i seemed to have just permed it..but counting down, it's been about 3 months ago that i permed it..

haha..i just can't take the dry bitzy ends anymore..and so i walked into Far East Plaza's 'Klearcut' and rebonded..not bad though..shall not reveal the price here..cause' i kind of under-declare it to mr cheng..oops..

2. i'm gonna change my job!..haha..that kind of explains my MSN tagline as 'to where i belong'..i wouldn't say for sure it's confirmed where i wanna be..but at least it's back to normality..i no longer have to work night shifts and get deployed non-stop for festive seasons e.g New Year and other impt functions..i can have time for family.. :D

this decision is not a rash act or anything, it's actually a consideration that came after some months of thinking and pondering..i did explore the other career routes within my present organisation but none of it gave me what i was looking for..

i guess i kind of needed a change of environment and people..and a few incidents over the past few months just made me more persistent in my decision. i guess i shall leave the risky jobs to other people and be happy at a '9 to 5', mon to fri job. the good thing about it is that i am still a civil servant having more or less the same benefits and salary. shall not reveal more about benefits and salary here but i would say it's a great deal though.

i can start meeting friends and relatives during weekends and go for some fitness or Yoga classes after work or even persue my studies..hee..

i am due for the transfer coming 2nd November..that's like a month plus later..i think it would come by fast though. i am clearing off my work now, not that i have much to hand over though. i can't wait to leave and start work in a completely new environment. but at the same time, i am a little sad and afraid too. Sad that i am leaving my organisation of 3 years, my colleagues whom i have called friends. it's difficult to leave a place where you have reported for work for 15 days in a month and played and laughed.

but, like a Chinese saying, 'there ain't no dinner that would not disperse'..i am translating directly from it so pardon the bad English. but it's like no matter how great something is, it is bound to come to an end one day. and that one day is coming soon for me.

though anxious to welcome a brand new environment and challenge, i am afraid too. afraid that i might not meet up to standards. it's been quite a long time since i last touched on anything related to civil procedures. it was in fact, my most hated module in school. well, i shall not go into how annoying the lecturer was.

well, whatever way it is. i will try my best at work. nothing's too tough to handle, just difficult perhaps.

and my new office is located within 5 mins walking distance to City Hall MRT. so, if anyone wants a lunch or dinner date with me, i am free!!

3. now this is the real shocker, i guess. to me, that is. haha..i am actually looking for a flat with mr cheng. haha..this seems like a open-ended question..

no worries, i am not pregnant or in a hurry to get married off. i still wanna have my rights as a single and enjoy my singlehood..

it's just that after the HK trip, mr cheng and i had a little talk and we decided that we wanna have a place to call our own. the rest is history. worry not, nothing much happened in HK..

haha..

this piece of news is not really officially announced, yet. maybe to a few close friends and colleagues. it's a whole lot of $$ involved and decisions to be made. we're in the planning stage. so further details much much later.

but, if you people have any lobangs in AMK flats, tell me.

i supposed grace would be happy to read this cause' i just mentioned AMK. haha..grace stays in AMK and i think it would be a good idea to be her neighbour..haha..

4. i am having a JAG*s meeting tomorrow with the other 2 gluttons..i wonder what's for dinner though..hungry liao..ate only porridge in the night..but i am happy to see them..gonna pass them the gifts from HK, nothing much but it's a sovenir thingy..

5. nothing much already..the above are the current big shockers in my life..haha..but if you're interested to know, i bought 5 bags, 2 flats, 1 heels, 1 sneakers, uncountable clothes from Espirit, Bossini, Ladies Market and Temple Street from HK. Went to Disneyland and ate like crazy with mr cheng. haha, our bags weighed 39 kg when checked in, just a kilo away from being overloaded..

haha, yes, we are indeed crazy shoppers.

btw, i am looking for some home deco magazines, tell me if anyone knows where and which is good.

A way overdue post...

being together for the past 8 months, mr cheng and i did what most couple would in the mid-stage of couplehood..that is to have a couple ring..

it was a simple affair on 11/09/2007 over lunch at Suntec's Sakae Sushi..and we even had a special guest with us too..the addition to our soft-toy family, 'small FF bear'..this is in addition to our collection of big FF bear, the MM sheep and 5 little bettle bugs..

Sakae Sushi

as i am thinking of what to type in this long abandoned blog..i suddenly hear my neighbours' kids having such a conversation:

girl 1: shouting like crazy..(have no idea over what..but i guess they're playing teacher and students..)

girl 2: (starts to sob like mad..)

boy: horrrr....you make her cry...just now you make her cry then now again...horrrr...

child's innocence: priceless..

it's the 'horrr' word that made the conversation kind of funny...cause' it reminded me of how every kid in the block would use the word to scare each other when one of them gets into trouble..

and now, it's suddenly all so quiet outside..

weird people?..my neighbours have been the weirdest lot of people i 've known my 23 years of living on mother earth..

one of them actually keeps her pet cat outside along the corridors while she and her family sleeps..they might have the best sound-proof walls and doors and windows..but they have kind of forgotten that their poor neighbour me is sleeping like a unit away and have been hearing the cat's horny meowing almost every night..except when i am on night shift..

the other neighbour on my left is a BIG family i would say..come to my house one day and you know what i mean..they place ponds, pots of flowers, mattresses, pillows, toys..practically everything outside the house..their main door and gate is always open..their 4 or 5 or was it 6?..

whatever the numbers..the kiddos are a great and main source of noise pollution in my block..they practically treat my poor 4-storey block as a BIG playground..and like earlier on, i actually am honoured to hear how they would shout and scream while at their games..

but the worst was having to hear the husband shouting like mad and a baby crying like crazy at the same time..there were so many a time i wanted to just dial 999 and call for the cops..

mind me but that was especially so when i hear unknown man knocking loudly at their door in the middle of the night..i do suspect that they might be owing people some money here and there..but then, it ain't fair to comment on it cause i don't really know if they do..

damn freaky..

well...these two are just but two of my weird neighbours around..i haven't even touched on my upstairs neighbour who causes a leak on my ceiling due to some water thingy..and cats at my block that would get into catfights almost every night..

everyone thinks it's a blessing to be living just a street across from a big police station but i am beginning to think otherwise..

anyway, i think i have spent too much time here..been blogging and surfing the net since 12 plus..

the project's deadline is drawing near and i have a handful of stuff to clear and do..i hope this week passes by real fast!!!
