alicia's little thot at 8:16 PM
finally, i have time to blog some long long entry..
was down with sinus+flu since yesterday..even had the feeling that fever's on the way too..but thank god..everything's gettin' better..
and i just had my 'end-of-chinese-new-year' dinner wif my parents..mum cooked good food..
there was (sambal prawns+small abalone), (stewed sea cucumber+mushrooms+chestbuts)..yummie is the word..simply best..
alright..enough of 'nothin's much happening in life'..cause' the past one week has been good..
was out with Mr. Cheng a few days back...went to catch the movie 'The Protege' at PS..and Daniel Wu was god damn handsome..haha..I LOVE HIM..a lot a lot!!
here's the link to the webbie..interesting website..http://www.protegethemovie.com/en_main.html
the movie does remind me of Infernal Affairs..the 3-part Hong Kong movie starring Andy Lau and Tony Leung..
but 'The Protege' was not bad a movie..would give it 3.8/5..there's just some missing elements that i can't put into words..
but overall, it was good..or rather, watching it with Mr. Cheng was good.haha..feels good to have someone warm your hands when you're freezing from the ever-decreasing temperature of the cinema's air-con..
anyway..nothin much on that day though..i was clearing my extra hours while it was Mr. Cheng's 1st off day...had a walk after the movie and talked loads that i can't really remember..
and we didn't really know where we were walking to as well..but we eventually ended up around Zion Road vicinity before deciding to hail a cab to head home at 2am..
and out of that much talking..we came up with something surprising..haha..will let you guys know in due time..
yup..moving' on..yesterday was a super-rushy day..but i managed to accomplish a lot of stuff and met a lot of people..
started my day off with making of nametags at Beach Road..waited like an hour for the tags..cause' the shop people was busy and there were just too many annoying army boys buying their camp stuff..
super crowded and the weather was ultra hot..plue i was having a flu, everything was just irriatating..imagine feeling hot and sweaty and sneezing your way through everything..arrgh..
but...i still survived it all..
the nametags turned out good..not that there were any patterns or that it's gold-plated..but when you look further down later, you'll get what i mean..and no peeping..hey hey..i spent like an hour posting this super long entry..so the best you can do is to give me some credits for my writing instead of just browsing thru' the pics..
oh, and back to the topic..after the tags, went to Bugis to get some roses for my cousin..haha..she gave birth liao..to a sweet baby boy Elijah Sim on 02/03/2007..
and so after the flowers..went to buy some strudel from Ritz..the strudel was damn nice man..they had strawberry, apple, mango flavours..so yummie..
and after buying all of this and a big big pack of tissue to last me for the whole day of flu, i went to KKH..
haha..my nephew was super duper cute..he smiled at me liked a few times..and was looking at me with 1 of his eyes..haha..guess he was tired to open the other eye..too bad, no pics of him..i was having a bad flu and didn't wanna get too near to him..
babies are such treasures...
but worry not, the maternal instincts are not roaring within me..i am just not that into babies and children yet..
and after visiting them, i dropped by to pass Mr. Cheng his nametags and strudel..
and lastly, meeting at Ang Mo Kio Central with grace..yea, it sounds weird i know..2 females in their 20s hanging around AMK?
haha..was supposed to go shop for some nice clothes at a 'Auntie' shop...well, we did..spending near to an hour at the shop and a total of 60 bucks on burmudas, pants and skirts..
it's a good bargain thou..the shop was having a closing down sale..and we managed to grab good bargains..haha..our 'auntie' shopping..
and i still remember the both of us telling each other how much we hope people would NOT recognise us..haha, it's nothin to be ashamed about but it's just 'pai seh' to be caught in the midst of searching for good buys..haha..if you're a gal, you know what i mean..haha
and so, thereafter, went to other shops before resting our feets at the open-spaced area to have our usual gossipy chit-chatting session..yea, we can still talk a lot despite talking a lot a few days back and being kind of exhausted from the walking..
last but not least, we watched 'Just Follow Law' at Jubilee..
would rate it 3/5 though..for the sake of Fann Wong and hearing her shout 'Na-bei'..haha..kind of worth it..
except that the plot just seems very familiar to a Hong Kong movie i watched a few years back..
but then, i love how the show talks about civil service in general..very true indeed..especially the quotes..
haha..shall not comment much here..
the show was good..expecially so when i have my best friend by side..and a Coke and popcorns in hand.. haha..
oh yeah, before the auntie shopping..me and grace went for dinner at a chinese eatery at Jubilee..at the second level i think..
here are the pics..food was alright..menu is very much Taiwanese style..with the bubble teas and chinese snacks..pricings are alright too.. :P
grace and her big cuppa of Mango Snow..
Ma La Mee Sua with chicken..the soup's nice~
'Guo Tie'...dumplings pan fried style..
salad you tiao..
golden pillow...some chunky soup thingy in fried bread toast..
after so much of writing and pics, i feel damn good man..
it's been a long time since i talked this much and posted so much pics and feel so damn happie..
haha..remember how at times i would post up a pic and call it 'the pic of the day'?
today's no exception..
here's my pic of the day..
and i love him so...
read up liao..so that i can start on a new book that i am eyeing..haha..
